Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 August 2026
This policy explains how FindBets collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use findbets.co.uk (the "Site").
1. Who we are
FindBets is operated by Domain Farm Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 13544286, VAT number GB435224124.
Registered office: Vantage House, Euxton Lane, Euxton, Chorley, Lancashire, PR7 6TB.
Domain Farm Ltd is the data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Any reference to "we", "us" or "our" in this policy means Domain Farm Ltd.
2. What data we collect
We collect the minimum data needed to run the Site and answer your questions. Depending on how you use FindBets, this can include:
Contact and enquiry data. If you fill in a contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address and the content of your message.
Analytics data. We use analytics tools (for example Google Analytics or a similar service) to understand how visitors use the Site. This can include your IP address (usually truncated or anonymised), device and browser type, pages viewed, time on page, referring website and general location (town or region level, not precise).
Affiliate click-tracking data. When you click through to a bookmaker or gambling operator from FindBets, that click is recorded through an affiliate tracking link or cookie so the operator can attribute any resulting sign-up to us. This typically involves a tracking ID, the time of the click and the page you clicked from. We do not receive details of any account you open, any deposit you make or your gambling activity on the operator's site: that relationship and its own privacy policy sit entirely with the operator.
Cookies and similar technologies. See section 5 below.
We do not knowingly collect any special category data (such as health data) or financial account details through the Site.
3. Our lawful basis for processing
We rely on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR, depending on the activity:
- Consent for non-essential cookies and analytics tracking (you can withdraw this at any time: see section 5).
- Legitimate interests for essential site functionality, fraud prevention, and running our affiliate referral relationships, balanced against your right to privacy.
- Legitimate interests / contract for responding to a contact form enquiry you have chosen to send us.
- Legal obligation where we are required to retain or disclose data (for example to a regulator or under a court order).
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Who we share data with
We share limited data with third parties who help us run the Site:
- Analytics providers (such as Google Analytics), to help us understand and improve site performance.
- Affiliate networks and bookmakers, who receive click and referral data so they can attribute sign-ups and pay us commission where applicable. See our Terms of Use for how affiliate relationships work.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers, who store the Site and its data on our behalf.
- Email or form-handling providers, if you contact us through the Site.
We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes, and we require the providers above to handle your data securely and only for the purpose we've engaged them for.
Some providers may process data outside the UK or EEA. Where this happens, we require appropriate safeguards to be in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or reliance on an adequacy decision.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
Strictly necessary cookies. Needed for the Site to function (for example, remembering your cookie preferences). These do not require consent.
Analytics cookies. Help us understand how visitors use the Site, so we can improve it. These are set only with your consent.
Affiliate tracking cookies. Set when you click through to a bookmaker, so that operator can identify that a visit or sign-up came from FindBets. Some bookmakers set their own tracking cookies once you land on their site: those are covered by the operator's own cookie policy, not ours.
You'll see a cookie banner when you first visit the Site, where you can accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your preferences at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer, or by adjusting your browser settings to block or delete cookies (this may affect how some parts of the Site work).
6. How long we keep your data
We keep contact-form enquiries for as long as reasonably needed to deal with your query and for a limited period afterwards for our records, typically no longer than 24 months unless we need to keep it longer for a legal reason.
Analytics data is retained according to the settings of our analytics provider, typically 14 to 26 months, after which it is deleted or fully anonymised.
Affiliate click-tracking data is retained only for as long as needed to attribute referrals and process commission, in line with the relevant affiliate network's own retention terms.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure ("the right to be forgotten") of your data, where applicable.
- Restrict how we process your data in certain circumstances.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests, including analytics and profiling.
- Data portability, where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means.
- Withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent (this doesn't affect processing carried out before you withdrew it).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 9. We'll respond within one month, as required by law.
8. Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your personal data, we'd like the chance to put it right, so please contact us first.
You also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
